Canada needs international students and immigrants to fill jobs

Canada is experiencing a major labour shortage, and now more than ever, international students are needed to fill essential jobs and become new immigrants.

ILAC is working closely with employers across the country to help our students find their dream job in Canada. International students at ILAC International College can expect entry level positions as:

    • Customer service representatives
    • Sales associates
    • Marketing coordinators
    • Digital marketing specialists
    • Restaurant hosts and servers

“Canada’s economy is dependent on international students and new immigrants,” says Jonathan Kolber, ILAC CEO.  “ILAC IC programs give students the skills to work in business, technology, healthcare, travel and tourism, and hospitality.”

Convincing international students to remain in Canada permanently has become a top priority, and the government has announced several policies in recent months to create more pathways for immigration.

“Our message to international students and graduates is simple: we don’t just want you to study here, we want you to stay here,” said Immigration Minister Marco Mendicino earlier this year.

Right now, the greatest need is for front-line staff in hospitality, retail and the restaurant industry. The most in-demand jobs in Canada for 2021 require skills in customer service, sales and marketing, business communications and administration and health care.

“Canada’s immigration policy is to bring in as many skilled workers as possible,” says Kolber. “This is an opportunity of a lifetime for anyone who wants to study, work and immigrate to Canada.”

Over the past year and half, Canada has emerged as a global leader in the fight against COVID and is again open for business. Get ready to start your dream job in Canada with ILAC International College by visiting www.ilacinternationalcollege.com
