Teens aged 15–18 can spend one to four weeks in Toronto or Vancouver, combining interactive English lessons with winter activities, cultural experiences and Canadian adventures.
Every week offers something new, from city explorations and social activities to ice skating, ski and snowboard adventures, and full-day excursions. Students use English inside and outside the classroom, helping them gain confidence while experiencing winter in Canada.
Dedicated Teens Program Leaders support students throughout the program, giving teens the freedom to explore while providing parents with peace of mind.

The private homestay package combines English lessons, accommodation, activities, transportation and student support in one complete program.

No Accommodation Option
The No Accommodation option does not include homestay, airport pick-up and drop-off, or the notarized custodianship letter. Students without accommodation still receive their unlimited transportation pass on campus on their first day.

Interactive lessons help students improve their English while preparing them to use it throughout their Canadian winter experience.
Students complete an online placement test before arrival so they can join the appropriate class on their first day.
Digital textbooks and learning materials are included at no extra cost.
Regular testing helps students and teachers measure progress and recognize improvement throughout the program.
Students combine weekday English lessons with ESL specialization sessions, social activities, city experiences and a full-day Saturday excursion.

Carefully selected homestay families give students a safe, welcoming place to live during their Winter Program.
Homestay gives students the opportunity to experience Canadian life, practise English outside the classroom and become part of a local household. Students can choose a private or twin room, depending on their selected package.

The average commute between ILAC and homestay families is approximately 45 to 75 minutes by public transportation. Students receive an unlimited transportation pass during their program.

Contact UsThe ILAC Winter Program is designed for students aged 15–18.
Students can choose a one, two, three or four-week program. Available arrival dates depend on the selected program length. See the 2027 Start Dates and Program Fees section for all available dates.
Students receive a public transportation pass for travel to classes and scheduled activities.
Students use public transportation for travel within Toronto or Vancouver. Private coaches or buses are used for selected full-day excursions and longer trips.
Teens Program Leaders meet students on campus and accompany the group to scheduled activities and excursions.
Two-way airport transfers are included with the private and twin homestay accommodation packages. Students are transported between Toronto Pearson International Airport or Vancouver International Airport and their homestay.
Airport transfers are not included with the No Homestay Accommodation package.
Students stay with carefully selected host families in the Greater Toronto Area or Metro Vancouver. Depending on the selected package, students receive a private or twin bedroom, shared bathroom, Wi-Fi and three meals per day.
Travel time between the homestay and ILAC varies depending on the host family’s location and public transportation.
Yes. Unaccompanied Minor Service can be requested for an additional $200. ILAC staff escort the student at the airport and coordinate the handover to airline staff.
This service must be requested in advance and is separate from the standard airport transfer included with accommodation packages.
At the end of the program, students receive an ILAC English Program Level Certificate and celebrate their achievement with their classmates.
