A Winter Adventure Teens Will Never Forget

The ILAC Winter Teen Program offers students ages 15–18 an unforgettable Canadian adventure that combines English learning, cultural discovery, and lifelong friendships. With campuses in Toronto and Vancouver, teens enjoy a perfect mix of engaging classes, exciting excursions, and safe, supportive supervision from ILAC Program Leaders. From iconic city tours to daylong winter adventures and weekend trips, every week is designed to balance independence, fun, and learning.

Ski Trip, Grouse Mountain - ILAC
Toronto

Students will connect with other international students, build friendships, and experience Canadian culture while exploring Toronto’s most iconic sites. Activities include:

    • Full Day Excursions (weekends & weekdays): Niagara Falls, Ski/Snowboarding, Nathan Phillips Square + Eaton Centre, St. Lawrence Market.
    • City Spotlight: CN Tower, Royal Ontario Museum, Ripley’s Aquarium, Art Gallery of Ontario.
    • City Action: Bowling & Laser Tag, Ice Skating, Trampoline Park.
    • Walking Tours: Graffiti Alley & Kensington Market, Yorkville & The Well, Vaughan Mills Outlet, Trillium Park.
    • ILAC Socials: Movie Night, Games & Karaoke, Winter Party, DIY Tote Painting.

Students will discover the best of Vancouver while making friends and enjoying active, engaging experiences in one of the world’s most beautiful cities. Activities include:

    • Full Day Excursions (weekends & weekdays): Capilano Suspension Bridge, Ski/Snowboarding, Stanley Park, Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge.
    • City Spotlight: FlyOver Canada, Science World, Vancouver Aquarium, Vancouver Art Gallery.

FAQ

What ages can join the program?

The program is designed for students 15–18 years old. Students 13–14 years old may also join if they come with a pre-arranged group and Group Leader.

Durations

1,2, 3, or 4 weeks.

    • English Lessons: 20 lessons per week, designed for ILAC Teens.
    • Digital Curriculum: Pearson digital textbooks included.
    • Homestay Accommodation: Private bedroom (or shared for groups), 3 meals per day, placement fee included.
    • Airport Transfers: Arrival and departure included.
    • Unlimited Transportation Pass: Delivered at the airport on arrival.
    • Activities & Excursions: Full calendar included, plus overnight trip for 3 & 4 week programs.
    • Health Insurance: ILAC Essential Health Care, valid from arrival.
    • Custodianship Letter: Provided by ILAC for underage students.
    • Graduation Certificate & Party: Digital certificate + celebration event.

👉 The only extra cost is a non-refundable $225 Registration Fee to secure the spot and issue the Letter of Acceptance.

    • Students stay with Canadian host families.
    • 2 students per room (same gender), shared bathroom.
    • 3 meals per day included.
    • Group Leaders receive a single room with a shared bathroom.
    • Single rooms for students are available at an extra cost.

Homestay families provide:

    • Breakfast
    • Packed lunch (sandwich + drink)
    • Dinner
    • Students bring their packed lunch to activities. Meals are not included during excursions.

Within the city: by public transit (unlimited pass included).

Excursions/longer trips: by private coach/bus (included).

Yes. If students already have a place to stay in Canada, they can join the program. They must provide:

    • A notarized custodianship letter signed by a Canadian citizen or PR.
    • A parental consent letter (ILAC provides the format).

Yes. Two-way transfers (arrival + departure) are included. If not required, parents must sign a consent letter (format provided).

Yes. UMS is available on request for an additional fee. Regular airport transfers do not include UMS.

At the end of the program, students receive an ILAC English Program Level Certificate (sent digitally) and celebrate at a graduation party with their peers.

    • Activities are subject to change.
    • Students participate in each activity only once during their stay.
    • Some activities are scheduled before classes, others after.
