in Canada

Summer with ILAC is all about sun, discovery, and connection. Teens aged 15–18 can join us for 1 to 4 weeks in Toronto or Vancouver for an English and adventure experience that blends learning with real Canadian fun.
Choose your perfect summer — 1, 2, 3, or 4 weeks of learning, friendship, and adventure!

Each week brings a new adventure—from full-day trips to Niagara Falls or Whistler to city explorations, sports, and cultural festivals. Teens practice English in and out of the classroom, gaining confidence as they experience Canada’s vibrant summer energy.

With dedicated Program Leaders, all-inclusive packages, and welcoming homestay families, parents can relax knowing every detail is carefully planned and supervised. Teens get independence and excitement; parents get peace of mind.

Activities

Students will make new friends from around the world, experience Canadian culture, and discover Toronto’s most exciting landmarks and attractions. Activities include:

    • Full Day Excursions (weekends): Niagara Falls & Boat Tour, Toronto Island, Canada’s Wonderland.
    • City Spotlight: CN Tower, Royal Ontario Museum, Ripley’s Aquarium, Art Gallery of Ontario.
    • City Action: Woodbine Beach Volleyball, Blue Jays Baseball Game.

What ages can join the program?

The ILAC Teen Program is designed for students aged 15–18. Students aged 13–14 may also join if they are part of a pre-arranged group with a designated Group Leader.

ILAC Teen Programs run for 1, 2, 3, or 4 weeks, giving you flexible options to fit your schedule.

    • 1-week sessions: Jul 6 – Jul 13 – Jul 20 – Jul 27 – Aug 4 – Aug 11 – Aug 18 – Aug 25
    • 2-week sessions: Jul 6 – Jul 13 – Jul 20 – Jul 27 – Aug 4 – Aug 11 – Aug 18
    • 3-week sessions: Jul 6 – Jul 13 – Jul 20 – Jul 27 – Aug 4 – Aug 11

Each session includes English classes, excursions, and social activities for a full Canadian experience.

Your unlimited transportation pass will be delivered at the airport before your transfer, so you can start exploring right away.

26 lessons/week designed for ILAC Teens—registration fee included.

English Program Level Certificate & Graduation Party
Celebrate your success with an official ILAC certificate sent digitally and join a fun graduation party with your fellow students!

Students stay with carefully selected host families within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), providing a safe and welcoming home environment.

    • Airport Transfers: Students are picked up and dropped off by reliable airport transfer services directly to and from their homestay.
    • Accommodation: Each student gets a private bedroom with a shared bathroom (upgrades for a private bathroom are available).
    • Meals: Three meals per day are included.
    • Group Leaders: Group Leaders receive private accommodation, three meals per day, and a shared bathroom.

Homestay is designed to give students independence while ensuring they feel safe, supported, and fully immersed in Canadian culture.

Students travel safely and conveniently throughout their ILAC Teens program:

Within the city: Use public transit with your unlimited transportation pass, included in the program.

Excursions & longer trips: Travel by private coach or bus, included for some full-day trips.

Supervised by Teen Program Leaders: Students meet on campus and travel together, ensuring a safe and guided experience with all transfers covered.

Yes! Two-way airport transfers (arrival and departure) are included in the program. Students will be picked up from the airport and safely delivered to their homestay family, and returned to the airport at the end of their stay.

If transfers are not required, parents must complete and sign a consent letter (a format will be provided).

Yes! The program includes Unaccompanied Minor (UM) Service on request for an additional $200 fee. ILAC staff escort minor students to the airport to ensure they depart safely and are handed over to airline staff.

Note: Regular airport transfers included in the program do not cover UM service—this must be requested in advance.

At the end of the program, students receive an ILAC English Program Level Certificate, sent digitally. Students also celebrate their achievement at a graduation party with their peers, making it a fun and memorable way to mark the end of their program.
