Ages 7–8: Understand simple instructions and short stories with visuals.
Ages 11–14: Follow talks, recognize cause/effect, and understand speaker’s purpose.
Reading
Ages 7–8: Read short stories, identify main ideas, use pictures & maps for meaning.
Ages 11–14: Understand structure, details, and problem/solution in texts.
Speaking
Ages 7–8: Ask & answer simple questions, describe routines, and role play.
Ages 11–14: Summarize, explain opinions, and present clearly with fluency.
Writing
Ages 7–8: Write simple sentences, stories, and “how-to” texts.
Ages 11–14: Write structured paragraphs, comparisons, summaries, and opinion essays.
