Open Letter: Canada Partnership Forum

Dear Friends,

As you know, Canada is one of the most popular study destinations in the world for international students. That’s why we are excited to announce a rebrand of our annual event in Canada to better support the industry and provide greater value for our local and international partners.

New name, better event

The ILAC Higher Education Workshop will now have a new name, concept and brand under the title Canada Partnership Forum. The event will continue to take place in Canada every year, alternating between Vancouver and Toronto, but this time with a greater focus on Canadian education, agent training, networking opportunities and partnership building.

More Canada, please!

The dynamic new format will include guest speakers, group discussions, workshops and social activities to better facilitate new business relationships. The focus will be all about Canada – what to study, where to go, how to apply and who to contact – to better promote what the Canadian education sector has to offer the world.  Topics at the Canada Partnership Forum will include program trends, immigration opportunities and the job market across the country.

It’s all about partnerships

Canada is the land of opportunity for international students and ILAC is the main connector between the language sector and higher education. That’s why we will continue to work closely with industry leaders like ICEF Workshops in Canada, Languages Canada and our higher education pathway partners. The Canada Partnership Forum will be open to colleges, universities, education agencies, service providers and thought leaders.

Global agent training

In addition to the Canadian events, ILAC will continue to host 10-15 agent training sessions a year in various markets around the world, including Latin America, Western and Eastern Europe and Asia. The market-specific sessions provide on-the-ground training for agents and their staff about ILAC’s pathway programs with Canadian colleges and universities.

Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you at the Canada Partnership Forum in Vancouver in April 2019!

Sincerely,

Jonathan Kolber, ILAC Co-Founder
