We did it again!
Today, ILAC won the StudyTravel Leading Star Award 2021 and ILAC International College won the Award for Vocational College of the year.
This is the 2nd time that ILAC IC has won the Star Vocational College award and 3rd time that ILAC – the International Language Academy of Canada – has won the prestigious ST Star Leading Star Award.*
“Today’s ST Awards were a very emotional event,” said Jonathan Kolber, ILAC CEO, during his thank you speech at the virtual event. “We saw our dear friends from all over the world and we saw both our past and our future. This event proves that our industry, international education, is resilient and overcoming COVID proves that nothing can stop us.”
Now in its 16th year, the ST Star Awards features 25 categories, including international study travel agencies, language providers, vocational colleges, secondary schools and service providers. The glamourous event is usually held in London, England, but this year almost 300 participants joined the ceremony online.
“Today, I believe, marks a turning point in our industry,” said Kolber. “Students are getting vaccinated and starting to travel freely again. The plane is taking off full of dreams and students to all our destinations. 2022 will be the best year ever for all of us so keep dreaming big!”
*The ST Star Award recognizes organizations that have won the ST Star English Language School Award five years in a row and were named ST Lifetime Super Stars.
