(PSAC) and the Federal Government have reached a tentative agreement

The Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) and the Federal Government have reached a tentative agreement, including those at Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). The strike started on April 19 has ended today Monday, May 01, 2023.

 

The office of international student immigration advising would like to remind all international students of the importance of maintaining their immigration status while studying with as international students in Canada. This includes staying enrolled full-time, following the rules of your temporary visa category, and keeping all your relevant immigration documents for work and study up to date.

 

International students are also encouraged to seek advice and guidance from the office of international student immigration advising if they have any questions or concerns about their immigration status. The office is available to assist with immigration-related issues with one-on-one appointments, to support to help students navigate the complex immigration process.
