Minister of Advanced Education and Skills Development visits ILAC Toronto

We had the pleasure of welcoming the Honourable Deb Matthews, Minister of Advanced Education and Skills Development at our Toronto campus.

Honourable Matthews had the opportunity to talk to University Pathway students of different nationalities about their future and wanting to become new Canadians, inspiring them to pursue higher education.

More of the topics discussed were ILAC’s future campus development and program growth, nationality mix, and initiatives to support women in leadership and scholarship.

Among the guests welcoming Honourable Matthews were Jonathan Kolber and Ilan Cohen, ILAC’s Co-Directors, Dr. Izzeldin Abuelaish, founder of the Daughters for Life Foundation, and Raneem Kanaan and Ayaat Labbad, two of the Syrian students who recently joined our English program on full scholarships provided as part of our initiatives with the Daughters for Life Foundation.
