Our hearts and prayers are with you.  The world is watching you and admiring your courage and resilience.

 

We, as Canadians, believe in your human rights and your dignity.

 

The Russian people did not choose this war.

 

Over the years, we have built deep ties in both Ukraine and Russia, and are personally attached to both countries.  We stand with you for peace.

 

We hope this tragedy ends quickly.
