March Is Self-harm & Sleep Awareness Month

Let’s all personally aim to educate and raise awareness about the realities of self-harm. We encourage you all to seek out our resources and support if you or someone you know is struggling with this issue contact [email protected]

As international students you know how important it is to prioritize sleep. That’s why we want to remind you that March 12-18 is Sleep Awareness Week. Take some time to reflect on your sleep habits and make any necessary changes to prioritize getting enough rest. By establishing a consistent sleep schedule, create a relaxing bedtime routine, avoid ca¬eine and electronics before bed, and aim to get 7-9 hours of sleep each night.

National Drug and Alcohol Facts Week (March 20-26)

This week is an important event that reminds us of the risks associated with substance use. In the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day (March 17th), we also want to remind you to drink responsibly and to look out for each other. Let’s have some fun, but let’s also make sure we’re taking care of ourselves and those around us.

Drinking and using drugs responsibly can be achieved by setting limits, avoiding peer pressure, educating oneself on the effects and risks, and seeking help if needed.
