ILAC has signed an MOU with Languages Canada for the pilot of the Joint Pathway Program (JPP). The new initiative allows accredited private language schools and public post-secondary institutions to have an integrated pathway under one PAL.
The Joint Pathway Program (JPP) launched by LC is a fully IRCC-compliant joint program model that allows accredited private language schools and public post-secondary institutions to collaborate within a single, integrated pathway.
“As a long-established leader in Canadian pathway programs, ILAC is uniquely positioned to deliver an exceptional student journey, offering a smooth, supported transition from our language programs to top post secondary institutions, says Magda Link, Senior VP of Partnerships and Career Colleges at ILAC Education Group. “The IRCC approved JPP further amplifies these opportunities, opening new doors for students pursuing higher education in Canada.
The model responds to challenges in the language and international education sectors by improving compliance clarity, strengthening partnerships, and creating more predictable enrolment pipelines.
Bringing back in-person pathways will augment ILAC’s online programs to create a seamless experience for students who need to upgrade their language skills and prepare for higher education. A JPP partnership with ILAC will help attract diverse and qualified students to public institutions.
Joining the pilot so far are Niagara College, Sheridan College and Humber College, and institution-to-institution agreements between public and private partners is the next phase of the pilot.
“Canada continues to stand out as a premier destination for international students, celebrated for its world class education and vibrant multicultural environment,” says Link. “We look forward to unveiling our JPP partners soon and expanding the possibilities for students worldwide.”
