ILAC IELTS Centre in Vancouver is Now Open

The newILAC IELTS Test Centrein metro Vancouver is now open for testing and test bookings. This Saturday, July 11th, will be the first date for in-person tests at the new ILAC IELTS locations in BC, Canada. Open five days a week; the new ILAC IELTS Test Centre offers a choice between two types of IELTS exams, the IELTS Academic Exam and IELTS General Training Exam. 

Choose which IELTS test is right for you 

The IELTS Exam is divided into two different tests. The IELTS Academic Test is for people applying for higher education or professional registration in an English speaking environment. It features academic language and assesses whether you are ready to begin studying or training. 

The IELTS General Exam is for people going to English speaking countries for secondary education, work experience or training programs. The IELTS General Test is used primarily for immigration to Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK. The test focuses on basic survival skills in broad social and workplace contexts.  

Register for your exam at ILAC IELTS 

To register for a test, go to www.ieltsvancouver.com and follow the instructions to select a type of exam (Academic or General) location and date. The cost of the IELTS exam starts at $319 CAD and varies by city and delivery: paper or computer. Currently, only the ILAC IELTS Vancouver – Downtown venue offers the computer-based test.  

Preparing for your IELTS exam 

ILAC offers virtual, part-time and full-time classes IELTS preparation courses in Vancouver and Toronto so you can gain the confidence and techniques needed to take the IELTS exam. Whether you are in Canada or abroad, you can study from home and prepare for the IELTS test with live online classes in your time zone. You will also receive customized IELTS support to help you determine your goals and achieve your desired score.
