For one week the participants took English classes at ILAC, stayed with our homestay families, and joined us on some great excursions in Toronto.
21 Colleges and Universities joined ILAC for the FAM trip, presenting their programs to all agents. ILAC also organized visits to Humber, George Brown and Seneca College.
Activities:
On Wednesday night a group of ILAC staff and agents enjoyed the NBA games with Raptors vs Washington Wizards, and to our luck the Raptors won! Everyone enjoyed an evening of fun and some of us even made it one the big screen!
Thursday from 3:00pm to 6:00pm ILAC organized the Higher Education fair. Meetings were arranged for agents and institutions in order for both parties to get to know each other better and understand the programs the schools offer. The event was sealed off with a delicious meal at Yamato restaurant in Yorkville.
Friday we visited the first ever Distillery Christmas Market. The beautiful Distillery was transformed into a European market, with Mulled wine, Choirs and Carollers, a Ferris wheel and event Santa made an appearance.
On Saturday we organized a trip to Niagara Falls, where the agents were able to see the falls and taste some delicious wines. The event was a big success and as always we are very honoured to have hosted such a great group.
