That’s why the International Language Academy of Canada (ILAC) takes language learning to the streets, the stadiums, and the great outdoors. With our dynamic ESL activities for teens, we give international students the chance to use English in real-life situations, building practical skills and unforgettable memories along the way.

Learning English should be a blast, so that’s what we do! Our ESL activities for teens are designed to take the pressure off (and remove the stress) and allow personality to shine through. Plus, we have multiple events for different age groups so we can provide age-appropriate socializing opportunities for both younger students and older students.

Walking Tours

Let your teen explore their new home on foot with ILAC’s engaging walking tours. These fun ESL activities for teens are a fantastic way to discover the city, practice the English language in real-life situations, and make new friends—all while getting some exercise.

Our walking tours are designed to be both educational and fun, giving young learners a unique perspective on Canadian culture and city life. They’re perfect for ESL students who love to learn by doing.

Our city tours and trips turn North America into one big, exciting classroom for your teen. Group activities like these offer unique opportunities to practice vocabulary words, grammar rules, and language points in real-life contexts.

Don’t worry. These ESL activities for teens are carefully planned to ensure safety, educational value, and of course, tons of fun!

Here are some of the amazing destinations your teen can add to their travel bingo card while taking English classes with us:

Outdoor Activities, Sports, and Camping

ILAC’s English language programs encourage an active lifestyle while learning. That’s why one of our main ESL activities for teens involves outdoor adventures that teach English and life skills hands-on. These activities are perfect for teaching teens practical language skills in engaging and memorable ways.

Through these activities, students learn new vocabulary and practice grammar in a fun and interactive environment. Advanced students also get unique opportunities to apply their knowledge in real-world settings.

Here are some exciting outside-the-classroom activities your teen can look forward to:

  • Sunset Canoeing
  • Algonquin Park Camping
  • Outdoor Yoga
  • Beach Volleyball Day
  • Blue Jays Game

Seminars and Workshops

Teaching teens through ESL games and out-of-classroom events ensures they gain practical language skills while enjoying unforgettable experiences. At ILAC, we complement these ESL activities for teens with a range of seminars and workshops that provide valuable information and skills to support students’ overall growth.

We aren’t just teaching English; we’re preparing students for a successful future. Our teen and young adult students can join immigration seminars and interactive monthly workshops

Let Your Teen Learn English the Fun Way at ILAC
