CPF Vancouver 2025 | Dream it, be it

At the beginning of May, ILAC hosted its annual Canada Partnership Forum in Vancouver, Canada. International and local agents, Canadian university and college partners and industry leaders gathered to share ideas, discuss new programs and of course, have fun!

Over 400 delegates from across Canada and around the world came together to discuss study opportunities for international students in Canada

Thank you to our partners who supported the event, in particular TOEFL, GuardMe, CELPIP by Prometric, Niagara College, Royal Roads University, Camosun College, LaSalle College, Vente a Canada and Languages Canada, along with 30 higher education institutions.

This year’s CPF Vancouver featured exciting new programs at ILAC, higher education training sessions, individual meetings with schools and exhibitors, networking breaks, campus and residence tours and evening parties with food, music and dancing.

CPF Vancouver 2025 was officially opened by the Honourable Anne Kang, Minister of Post Secondary Education and Future Skills. Minister Kang spoke passionately about her experience immigrating to Canada from Taiwan and her support for international students in Canada.

Guests especially enjoyed the Canadian Arts & Culture Gala, held at the beautiful Vancouver Art Gallery. Delegates were encouraged to dress in the theme of green and gold and discover the artwork of Emily Carr, a Canadian artist who was inspired by the monumental art and villages of the First Nations of British Columbia.

Prior to CPF Vancouver, select agents were invited for a two-day trip to Victoria, Vancouver Island. Participants basekd in the sunshine on the ferry and then had a chance to meet with the Ministry of Education and visit Camosun College. The tour culminated with a stunning dinner reception in the castle at Royal Roads University.

Thank you to all our agents, educators and industry partners for joining us and encouraging us to keep dreaming big!
