Canada’s Border is Reopening!

Canada is planning to reopen its borders to fully vaccinated international travellers on Tuesday, September 7

That means that short-term language students will be able to come to ILAC without having to apply for a study permit or stay in quarantine.

All travellers will still need to use the ArriveCAN app to show proof of vaccination and other criteria before they arrive in Canada.

Thanks to the high rate of vaccination across the country, Toronto and Vancouver are now two of the safest cities in the world!

Colleges and universities across Canada will also be fully open in September. International students planning to come for programs longer than 6 months will need to have a study permit.

Stay tuned for more good news coming soon. Please contact your regional representative or [email protected] for specific information about travelling to Canada.
