Announcing the official Joint Pathway Program partnership between ILAC Education Group and Fanshawe College

We are extremely excited to announce the official Joint Pathway Program (JPP) Partnership between ILAC Education Group and Fanshawe College. This IRCC‑approved initiative establishes a clear, structured, and policy‑aligned pathway for international students transitioning from language education into post‑secondary diploma and degree programs.

The Joint Pathway Program is designed to support a seamless student journey, ensuring learners are academically prepared and fully supported as they progress from ILAC’s language programs into eligible academic programs at Fanshawe College.  The framework aligns with IRCC policy requirements while reinforcing best practices in international student success.

ILAC and Fanshawe College share a long‑standing partnership, welcoming pathway students from around the world for many years. This collaboration is one of ILAC’s longest‑standing institutional partnerships and reflects a shared commitment to quality, integrity, and student‑centered outcomes.

“As an established leader in Canadian pathway programs, ILAC is committed to continuing to deliver an exceptional student journey through the ILAC–Fanshawe College Joint Pathway Program,” said Magdalena Link, Senior Vice President, Partnership Development at ILAC Education Group. “This initiative offers students a smooth, supported transition from language studies into post‑secondary education, while remaining fully aligned with IRCC policy.”

“We’re is pleased to be partnering with ILAC on this new pathway,” said Fanshawe College President Peter Devlin. “It creates a new and supportive journey for students by combining English language preparation and post‑secondary study under one study permit, and it allows our teams to work closely together to help students succeed once they arrive in Canada.”

The collaborative partnership represents a significant milestone for both institutions and strengthens pathways between language education and post‑secondary studies. It also supports international student success while contributing to the long‑term strength and global competitiveness of Canada’s education sector.
