Announcing new ILAC ESL Specializations: Choose your own adventure in Canada!

At ILAC, students don’t just learn English — they specialize in it. ILAC now offers ESL students an opportunity to study English with purpose with 20 unique specializations in areas such as AI, music, Canadian culture and language. With almost 30 years’ experience teaching English to international students from around the world, ILAC is an expert in English language training and pathways to higher education.

ILAC Specializations allow students to focus their English learning on real goals, real interests and real outcomes. General English students now have the option to choose a specialization that matches what they want to achieve, such as improving professional communication, building confidence in speaking, or exploring creative and academic skills.

“Building on our expertise as the leading English language school in Canada, ILAC Specializations help students learn faster, stay motivated, and use English in meaningful, real-world contexts, while still building a strong academic foundation,” says Angela Johnston, VP Academic at ILAC Education Group.

Specializations are offered as part of ILAC’s award-winning ESL curriculum at no additional cost to the student. After four-weeks, students receive a certificate that complements their English level and long-term objectives.

“Each specialization is integrated into the academic journey and is part of a cohesive learning pathway,” says Johnston. “This allows our students’ English learning to be tailored to their personal goals, which leads to higher engagement and faster progress.”

The ILAC Specializations are now available for both Young Adult and Adult in-person classes starting this January.
