This program is designed for students whose first language is not English and who intend to pursue their studies at an EAP Pathway Partner Institution. The Pathway program is recognized instead of a language proficiency test such as IELTS or TOEFL. The program is offered in person or online. Students can complete their Pathway studies in person at ILAC in Canada, or online from their home country before commencing their studies at the partner insitution. For students studying online, we offer classes on 4 time zones to suit the student’s schedule.
This program is designed for current college students who want to strengthen their English language skills, improve their academic performance, and fully prepare themselves for the demands of their studies. It provides the support and training students need to excel in the classroom, participate with confidence, and move toward graduation feeling capable, motivated, and ready for future opportunities.

Instruction targets both natural, automatic communication and use of accurate academic language, including appropriate register, structure, vocabulary, and discourse markers.
