What to do this Victoria Day weekend in Toronto?

Three days off to enjoy and explore the city? It’s possible! To celebrate this long weekend in honour of Queen Victoria, we’ve selected the greatest events you could attend without spending one penny.

1. Rib & Craft Beer Fest

Wake up your taste, it is BBQ time! Imagine the aroma of slow-roasted goodness in the heart of the city. Let’s grill out at The Rib festival, FREE admission!

When: May 18 to 21, 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM

Where: Yonge-Dundas Square

2. Artfest Toronto

ArtFest

If you’re passionate about painting, photography, sculpture, fine craft or live music, then this event is for you! Canada’s top artists will be featured and you can enjoy it for free!

When: May 20 to 22, 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Where: Distillery Historic District, 55 Mill Street

3. Culinary Ontario Festival

Queen Victoria is not the only reason to celebrate this weekend. Have you heard about the province’s 150th anniversary? Let’s honourOntario by participating in this free gourmet festival. It will highlight Ontario’s diverse culinary culture, and there will be a variety of activities and entertainment. Everybody is welcome!

When: May 19 to 22, 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Where: Ontario Place, 955 Lake Shore Blvd. West

4. Victoria Day Fireworks

Celebrate Queen Victoria’s birthday with a dazzling display of pyrotechnics designed to impress you. A colourful event, that’s free to watch!

When: May 22 at 10:00 PM (come earlier, TTC transportation will be crowded!)

Where: Ashbridges Bay Park
