ILAC Announces Scholarships in Canada and the Middle East for Girls and Women

ILAC has pledged $200,000 CAD over the next five years to The Daughters for Life Foundation, a charity that provides leadership, education and health opportunities for women and girls in the Middle East.

The donation is being offered as part of the ILAC Foundation, a non-profit division of ILAC that promotes world peace through educational scholarships in Canada.

The Daughters For Life Foundation was established by the renowned peace activist and author Dr. Izzeldin Abuelaish, who created the charity in memory of his three daughters who were killed in the conflict in Gaza. For more information about the organization and its founder, please see https://www.daughtersforlife.com/

The ILAC scholarships in Canada and in the Middle East include:

  • 10 one-year ILAC Academic Pathway program scholarships in Canada for female students from the Middle East
  • Free accommodation for scholarships in Canada for 3 winners, up to $10,000 each
  • 20 one-year scholarships distributed over the next five years to female students accepted into programs across the Middle East
