The Joint Pathway Program (JPP) is designed to support your transition from English language study to college in Canada. You begin your studies at ILAC in Toronto or Vancouver, where you build your language proficiency and academic skills, then continue your journey at a partner college or university.
This is one continuous academic journey from ILAC to your college or university program.
Apply to ILAC and your chosen partner college or university with the support of your ILAC Academic Advisor, who will guide you through each step and help build your personalized study plan.
Once accepted, you will receive the documentation needed to begin your studies, including a Letter of Acceptance and PAL from your chosen college or university. These documents support your Study Permit application and help you prepare for Canada.
Begin your studies in ILAC’s University Pathway Program in Toronto or Vancouver. Develop your English proficiency, academic skills, and confidence in a supportive learning environment.
After completing your ILAC pathway program, you will continue your studies at your partner college or university and begin your academic program.
Your partner college or university provides the Letter of Acceptance and PAL to support your study permit application, creating a clear and guided pathway from your first day at ILAC through to graduation.

No. Completing ILAC’s Pathway Program allows you to meet the English language requirements for your partner college or university.
This depends on your current English level. Your ILAC Academic Advisor will assess your level and recommend a personalized study plan.
You will study at ILAC campuses in Toronto or Vancouver.
You will continue your studies at your partner college or university at the highest level of English program or a credited course and begin your academic program as planned. Duration of studies may be different at each partner institution. Please talk to your Academic Advisor to make a study plan for you.
