Welcome to our Health Services Blog

We want you to ensure your time with us is happy, healthy, and successful in every way. This blog will feature topics each month that provide information and resources on a variety of topics that help make your student journey a positive one.

  • So – you are living in a new culture- did you know February can be one of the coldest months of our Winter in Canada. You may be from a tropical country where it is warm all year, or from a place where the winters are mild. Nothing in your experience has prepared you for the Canadian winter.

  • Get used to wearing many layers of Winter clothing, socks, gloves, boots, hats and a good coat. Dress in layers you can either add or remove if you become too hot or cold.

  • It is important that you take care of yourself- eating regular nutritious meals, getting enough rest/sleep, fresh air and exercise, establishing a routine that allows you to have time for yourself and your studies.

  • This is your chance to try an outdoor activity such as skating or skiing- you may find that you enjoy it.
