ILAC Workshop Higher Education in Canada 2016

The ILAC Workshop Higher Education in Canada is an annual event held by ILAC, which provides top agents interested in higher education in Canada with the opportunity of connecting with ILAC’s Academic Pathway partner institutions.

90 agents from 25 countries visited ILAC’s campuses in Toronto to discover networking opportunities, establish partnerships, and learn new skills to continue promoting Canada as an educational destination.

From campus and city tours, to one-on-one meetings with representatives from 45 Canadian colleges and universities, the ILAC Workshop is an overall unique experience.

Campus Tours, Meetings & Presentations

To begin a day full of activities, agents adventured through the streets of downtown Toronto, and ILAC’s 4 boutique-style campuses.

After the sightseeing tour, agents attended presentations by ILAC and some of ILAC’s partner institutions: Thompson Rivers University, New Brunswick Community College, George Brown College, The Art Institutes, Camosun College, Brock University and ILAC International College.

Agents had the opportunity to have one-on-one meetings with representatives from 45 Canadian colleges and universities to learn about opportunities for international students and partnership agreements.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for us agents from various countries to be exposed to a number of opportunities in Canada for our students who want to come to Canada to study not only English but also to attend universities and colleges”, said Silvia Bertoni Reis, a participating agent from Global Mission Intercambios.
