Capilano University and ILAC Canadian Tourism College have signed an articulation agreement that allows qualified ILAC CTC students to enter the Bachelor of Tourism Management (BTM) at CapU.

Students from the Hospitality and Resort Business Management with Co-op and Travel and Tourism Business Management with Co-op programs can each receive 60 credits in block transfer toward the Bachelor of Tourism Management program at Capilano University.

“This is an incredible development for our graduates who will now have the opportunity enter Capilano’s prestigious Bachelor’s program in year three after just two years of study at ILAC Canadian Tourism College,” says Milan Petrovich, Vice President Academic of the ILAC Education Group. “The Capilano Bachelor of Tourism degree will further enhance their career opportunities while giving them access to a post-graduate work permit.”

“We are pleased to welcome graduates of Canadian Tourism College into our Bachelor degree,” says Stephanie Wells, Chair, School of Tourism Management.  “As tourism restarts it is even more important to continue to develop innovative, entrepreneurial, and sustainability focused professionals.  This combination of support from the Canadian Tourism College and completion at CapU will create opportunities for graduates to develop long and impactful careers within our industry.”

ILAC Canadian Tourism College is located in downtown Vancouver and has been preparing students for exciting careers in travel and tourism for over 40 years. A pioneer in hospitality programs, ILAC Canadian Tourism College provides students with hands-on training for a variety of different industry positions and is already partnered with Capilano’s Centre for International Experience.
