ILAC Higher Education Workshop | Toronto 2018

WATCH OUR RECAP VIDEO!

The ILAC Higher Education Workshop 2018 took place in Toronto from April 20 to 23. We had the honour of welcoming 155 agents from 25 different countries for a weekend filled with adventures, action, celebrations, and more importantly, to meet with 70+ representatives from top Canadian colleges and universities, creating new partnerships and bonds.

The main goal of the workshop is to be a bridge between recruiting agents from all around the world and Canada’s top Colleges and Universities. Through ILAC’s University Pathway program, students are able to transition from General English courses into academic preparation to attend higher education institutions in Canada.

Agents not only had the opportunity to meet with representatives and discuss future partnerships but also got to know ILAC’s staff and facilities, as well as the city of Toronto, living the ILAC experience first hand.

“I’m surprised about the number of agents ILAC has brought to Canada, to this particular event. The quality is so good, every single agent that is here is really interested in bringing students not only to learn English but to higher education,” said Gabriela Facchini from Sheridan College.

For some, the ILAC Workshop was also a rewarding experience that will help them introduce their higher education institutions to students around the world.“We always see ILAC as the school that goes everywhere, that does tremendous marketing activities in the regions and promotes the Canadian education system, which we need, as the higher education institutes in Canada,” said Mustafa Aydin from Georgian College.

Take a look at the highlights of the workshop and relive it with us!
