- For Students who would like to develop sophisticated fluency and written English skills
- Students will learn
- to write university essays of 1000 + words

behavior to participate in seminars and tutorials
- university culture and academic expectations
- strategies for teamwork in an academic environment
- critical thinking and making strong arguments
- English planning and performing presentation skills
- examination techniques
- research skills
- TOEFL preparation and practice
- $500 scholarship to university or college awarded to students who achieve an A or B grade
- Program qualifies you to enter many of ILAC’s partner universities or colleges without taking the TOEFL/IELTS
- Beginner and intermediate students will start in General English and FCE and then continue into Pre - Degree Certificate Program

- Pre - Degree Program Certificate
- Conditional entrance to university or college
- Develop academic English skills required to succeed at a Canadian university or college
Duration
- Students tested in beginner, intermediate or advanced levels will be required to study General English and FCE before taking the in Pre - Degree Certificate Program
- Students tested at level 15 will be immediately placed in the Pre - Degree Certificate Program. The complete Pre - Degree Certificate Program is 12 weeks (3 levels)

Requirements
- Students will take a written and oral test on the first day to determine English level
- Students tested in beginner, intermediate or advanced levels will be placed in General English first and then progress into the Pre - Degree Certificate in level 15
- Students with level 15 or higher may enter the Pre - Degree Certificate Program course immediately
