Description

• Beginner and Intermediate students will start in General English Principal classes and begin taking Business English electives classes in level 8
• View our Business curriculum
• After completing level 11 (or any higher level) of General English, students can begin the Diploma in Advanced Business English course as the Principal class
• To receive a diploma in Advanced Business English, you must successfully complete at least 12 weeks of study
• Students who successfully complete less than 12 weeks of study receive a certificate in Business Communication
• Develop English skills for employment and practical business situations.  Topics may include workplace communication, oral presentations, interview skills and discussing business topics

Course Goals

• Develop the English skills necessary to work and communicate in an international business environment
• Diploma in Advanced Business English if you successfully complete at least 12 weeks of study
• Certificate in Business English if you complete less than 12 weeks of study

Duration

• Each level of General English and Advanced Business English is 4 weeks long
• Students may study for as many levels as required
• The minimum course length is 2 weeks
• The complete Diploma course in Advanced Business English is 12 weeks long (3 levels)

Program Options

• Intensive English Program (30 lessons/week)
• Power English Program (38 lessons/week) - students progress 30% faster

Requirements

• Students will take a written and oral placement test on the first day to determine English level
• Students tested at beginner or intermediate levels (levels 1 -11) will be placed in General English first and then progress into Diploma in Advanced Business English
• Students tested at advanced level (level 12+) will be immediately eligible to enter the Diploma Advanced Business English course
