The Pathways UPDATE: What do you think about ILAC’s University Pathway Programs?

Anna: Very good. The University Pathway Programs is teaching me how to manage my studies in university. It’s great preparation for academic studies, and an important first step for in an international student’s education. It has sure been a very good experience to me.

The Pathways UPDATE: What do you think about the Pre-Degree Program (ILAC’s English for Academic Purposes)?

Anna: Very nice! Through the Pre-Degree Program, I’m gaining knowledge in academic skills such as writing, researching, and studying. In my opinion, TOEFL and Pre-Degree go together hand in hand. That’s why I chose to do both. I benefited from both programs for my academic career goals.

The Pathways UPDATE: Do you feel your teacher is knowledgeable in academic English teaching?

Anna: Very much so. She worked at York University as an assistant professor. She has that perspective, something I really appreciate. Classes simulate a real university lecture. She is especially strict about writing essays. It’s something she insists we be really good at.

The Pathways UPDATE: Would you recommend ILAC’s Pre-Degree Certificate Program to your friends?

Anna: Yes, I certainly would. Again, it depends on their purpose. I determined my path focusing on both TOEFL and Pre-Degree, because I applied to a variety of universities in Canada. I had a good experience and learned some important skills .I am very happy and satisfied that I did it.
