WHAT’S UP
A few ILAC students joined the Tourette Syndrome Foundation of Canada (TSFC) as volunteers for a fundraiser. The students sold tickets for a draw during the Toronto Argonaut Football game (CFL) at the Rogers Centre on Friday August 10th.

It was a great opportunity for students to practice English in a real-life situation with Canadians and to volunteer for a good cause. Of course, they also had the chance to enjoy the game at the Rogers Centre and meet the Argonaut team members!

Established in 1976, the Tourette Syndrome Foundation of Canada (TSFC) is the only national voluntary non-profit organization assisting individuals affected by Tourette Syndrome (TS) and its associated disorders.

Tourette Syndrome (TS) is a neurological or "neurochemical" disorder characterized by tics -- involuntary, rapid, sudden movements or vocalizations that occur repeatedly in the same way.
