MEET ILAC

We have picked the Activities Director for the monthly interview. Vittorio Di Luzio was born in Saint Etienne, France. He traveled all over the world and ended up here in Toronto, Canada more than 2 years ago when he joined ILAC. Today he looks after enhancing the students experience by adding fun and English practice throughout lots of activities.

Vitto: Sagittarius.

ILAC Times: Where were you born?
Vitto: Saint Etienne, France.

ILAC Times: Do you have brothers or sisters?
Vitto: 3 young brothers and 1 young sister.

ILAC Times: What do you miss the most about home?
Vitto: Riding my motocross bike.

ILAC Times: What’s the best place to go in your hometown?
Vitto: The Grangeant… a hydroelectric power station with great sightseeing, fishing, hiking, etc.

Vitto: No.

Vitto: No.

Vitto: More than 2 years.

ILAC Times: What do you like the most about Canada?
Vitto: It is a young country compared to European countries; therefore it has lots of opportunities.

ILAC Times: What cities have you been to in Canada?
Vitto: Toronto, Quebec City, Montreal, Ottawa and Vancouver.

ILAC Times: Any favorite city?
Vitto: Toronto!

ILAC Times: Why did you choose Toronto to live?
Vitto: Because of the job proposal to work at ILAC.

the most about Toronto?
Vitto: A lot of places to go, lots of activities, events… lots going on!

Vitto: Go to an NBA game.

ILAC Times: Don’t go to?
Vitto: Avoid going to Sherbourne and King Streets.

Vitto: Financial Accounting.

ILAC Times: Where did you work before ILAC?
Vitto: I worked as a sailing and diving instructor at the Turks and Kaikos Islands in the Caribbean.

Vitto: A bit more than 2 years.

Vitto: Activities Director.

ILAC Times: What are the challenges?
Vitto: To keep students from all over the world informed and engaged in the activities.

Vitto: To notice one’s satisfaction from getting in touch with things never seen before.
